“What’s the difference between Lit Training and Boot Camp?”
Lit Training classes are one hour long, with time to focus on a technical skill, followed by a workout that runs from 10 to 20 minutes. Scores are posted daily, and movements may include heavy weight lifting and gymnastic bodyweight movements such as pull-ups and toes-to-bar.
Boot Camp Ignite classes are 50 minutes long, and the SWEAT workout lasts around 22-30 minutes. There is no score, no difficult body weight movements, and no heavy weights (though we may use lighter dumbbells or kettlebells for some workouts). Ignite classes are designed to maximize fat burn in everyday athletes.

Everyone is welcome to drop by and try a Boot Camp Ignite class. Just give us a call or fill out our contact page to let us know when to expect you.
For CrossFit, we want to ensure that you have the skills required to work out with us safely. If you have CrossFit experience, let us know. Otherwise, we would ask that newbies start with our Nela Five starter pack, which includes five personal training sessions to teach you the ropes.
“Why are your prices higher than big chain gyms?”
We’re independently owned and operated. Our classes are conducted in small groups, so there’s lots of individual attention. The end result: people stay accountable and come back week after week. (Most big gym memberships end up sitting unused most of the year.) And it clearly works: our athletes push themselves harder and achieve far more than most people can manage in a regular gym. Give it a try and see for yourself!
“I’m in pretty rough shape… Is Lit Training going to be too hard?”
Have a chat with one of our coaches — you can probably do more than you think! All workouts are designed to be adjusted according to your ability. However, we do recommend that total beginners start with our Boot Camp classes, and progress to Lit Training classes if they desire. If there are too many obstacles to make group classes an option, our personal training program can help give you a kick-start.
“If I join, can I go to any class?”
Yes! Members can attend any class that their membership covers, at either location. Boot Camp members can attend any Ignite class, and CrossFit members can attend any class at all — including Boot Camp Ignite, Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit. There’s no need to reserve a spot first!
“What do I need to bring?”
We recommend that you bring a water bottle and clothes you can move in — typically shorts and a T-shirt (though some people prefer sweats). You may wish to also bring a hand towel and a change of shirt for afterwards. We have complimentary water coolers, and bottled water and recovery drinks are available for sale at each location.
“I Functional Train at another gym. Can I drop in?”
Of course! We’d love to have you. There’s a $22 fee for one-time drop-ins, or a $55 fee to work out with us as many times as you like for a week. Contact us for more info.
